In these centres, David trained with internationally renowned surgeons, and performed high volume surgery for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal cancers, acid-reflux disease, hiatus hernias, obesity, achalasia, pharyngeal diverticulum, and complex abdominal wall hernias. David now serves on the executive board of AANZGOSA and is a committee-chair for the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus.
David specialises in all areas of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. In particular, he has a subspecialty interest in the management of oesophageal and stomach cancers. For these conditions, David undertook additional training at two internationally renowned cancer centres - Utrecht Medical Centre, The Netherlands, and Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea.
David and his team offer state-of-the-art treatment for these conditions, which includes a personalised pre- and post-surgical program, as well as endoscopic, minimally-invasive and open surgery.

These extend to hernias of the groin and anywhere in the abdominal wall, including primary, incisional, simple or complex. David offers personalised assessment and advanced surgical repair of these conditions, including open, laparoscopic and robotic approaches.
David also treats most general surgical ailments including gallstones as well as lumps and bumps.
